How to become an ABBE centre?
Q. Why become an Approved Centre with ABBE?
Becoming an ABBE approved centre allows you to offer a wide range of vocational qualifications recognised by employers, professional bodies and industry.
Q. What documents are needed?
To become an ABBE Centre you will need to complete and submit an Application for ABBE Centre Approval application form.
Q. What is the process for approval?
When your application is received at ABBE it will be reviewed and where required, an evaluation visit arranged for your centre.
Q. How long will it take?
We aim to process an application for centre approval within four weeks.
Q. What support is available during this process?
We can provide ongoing support to complete the application form by telephone, email or through an advisory visit to your premises.
Q. What ongoing support is available to ABBE Approved Centres?
Once you become an ABBE Approved Centre you will have access to:
– Subject specialist External Quality Assurers
– Qualification specific documentation
– Online Learner registration and examination systems (if applicable)

How to order a replacement certificate?
Where a certificate has been lost or stolen, the learner or their assessment centre may apply for a replacement. The learner/centre must ensure that all possible measures have been taken to locate the original certificate before applying for a replacement.
If a learner’s name was incorrectly spelt on centre registration, for example, ‘Smith’ instead of ‘Smyth’, an application can be made to amend the spelling but the original certificate(s) must be returned. All enquiries must be reported on the Application Form for Replacement Certificate.
